Local-First & Mesh Synchronization
Over the last two years, we've designed local-first mesh sync layers using CRDTs (Conflict-free Replicated Data Types) and Bluetooth Low Energy / Local Wi-Fi direct connections. When two devices come within 50 meters of each other, they synchronize state silently without ever touching a central cloud server.
